Foundation / Corporation
Israel Cancer Research Fund (ICRF) and City of Hope (CoH)
Grants to Israel and City of Hope, California investigators for collaborative basic or clinical research related to cancer. Funding is intended to advance cancer research and to help develop new diagnostic tools, life-saving protocols, and strategies for cancer prevention. This new collaborative grant mechanism is intended to promote international partnerships for outstanding cancer research in Israel with a collaborating investigator at City of Hope in Duarte, California.
Applications may propose to discover and inform about genetic signaling or biochemical pathway interactions or to describe novel mechanisms of tumorigenesis. Applications are not limited to these examples, but must propose novel approaches that are neither an extension, nor expansion, of currently funded projects. Unique "value added" by the collaboration of the applicant labs should be clearly articulated.
