Grants of up to $1,000 to California arts organizations, individual arts professionals, and individuals representing arts organizations in eligible locations for professional development opportunities and for projects that benefit local residents. Funding is intended to support community projects that are free, open to the public, and benefit underserved communities. Grants will also support attendance at professional development seminars, workshops, and training courses that are designed to enhance the applicant's professional skills. Eligible projects must be located in the City of Long Beach and benefit the Long Beach arts and cultural sector.

- Applicants may request a maximum of $1,000.
- For Professional Development applications the Arts Council may fund up to half of the conference fees. For conferences taking place outside of Long Beach the Arts Council may fund up to $500.
Events Dates:
- Cycle 1: Events Dates: October 1–December 31, 2021
- Cycle 2: Events Dates: January 1–March 31, 2022
- Cycle 3: Events Dates: April 1–June 30, 2022
- Cycle 4: Events Dates: July 1–September 30, 2022
