In-kind services to a California minority-owned business to support diversity in the legal cannabis industry. The business will receive a California Type-S cannabis manufacturing license as well as rent, facilities, branding, and legal assistance. The purpose of the award is to empower minority business owners and to equalize the cannabis industry.

The recipient will receive the following:
-A paid-for type S cannabis license to MyGN’s upcoming Orange County shared-manufacturing facility.
-Subsidized monthly rent with complete access to MyGN’s network and facility.
-Branding and Packaging Design by Studio Goesto
-Free legal assistance with business formation and trademark

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

Businesses and current green leaders at MyGN are eligible to apply.

Pre-Application Information:

Round 1 will begin 12:01 AM Saturday, July 25, 2020, and end at 11:59 PM on September 15, 2020.

-Round 1 - Opens July 25, 2020:
Candidates in Round 1 will submit video statements detailing their passion for the industry, why they think they would be a good fit for the Green Quest prize, as well as what they will bring to the table as a new green leader. The top 50 candidates will move onto Round 2 and will be announced on August 29, 2020.

-Round 2 - Opens August 31, 2020
The Foundation looks for leaders looking to shake up the cannabis industry with intention.
Candidates in round 2 are required to submit a business plan to MyGN which details their company, products, and strategy. The top candidates will be selected to undergo an interview with MyGN’s executive team.

-Round 3 – Opens October 12, 2020
This is the final round. Time to ask friends and family for help.
The top candidates will showcase to the world that they are passionate, deserving, and ready to start their Green Quest in the cannabis industry. The public will vote and select the finalist.
