Grants of up to $10,000 to USA Indigenous-led nonprofit organizations for projects to revitalize the cultural resources of Native communities. The purpose of grant funding is to enhance cultural vitality and tribal identity, advance social and cultural justice, and foster leadership development.
Within this program food justice is part of cultural revitalization as many of the traditional foods are connected to cultural traditions, subsistence lifeways, and Indigenous Peoples’ fundamental relationships to land, community and collective spirit.
