Description:

Request a Grant Writer

Grants to California nonprofit organizations to enhance the quality of life for animals in eligible locations. Funding is intended for projects to benefit wild, domestic, and aquatic animals. Proposals should address current issues faced by local animals. Eligible projects serve animals in Ventura County.

The fund’s focus is broad, including animals wild and domestic, large and small, on land and in sea. After embarking on a targeted listening tour and hearing from so many community partners about the important and pressing issues affecting animals locally, it is clear the passion and vision that inspired the original donor’s gift is shared by many in the community. In this spirit, the Animal Welfare Fund supports an important area of interest and will make a positive difference for many years to come.
