FROM CONTRIBUTIONS RECEIVED AND THE EARNINGS THEREON, THE FOUNDATION PLANS TO MAKE DONATIONS TO QUALIFIED PUBLIC CHARITABLE, EDUCATIONAL AND SCIENTIFIC ORGANIZATIONS, PROVIDED SUCH DONATIONS ARE IN COMPLIANCE WITH ALL FEDERAL AND STATE TAX LAWS AND WILL NOT CAUSE THE FOUNDATION TO JEOPARDIZE ITS TAX-EXEMPT STATUS. THE AFOREMENTIONED ORGANIZATIONS WILL IDEALLY BE BASED IN CALIFORNIA; HOWEVER, DONATIONS TO EXCEPTIONALLY MERITORIOUS ORGANIZATIONS WILL BE CONSIDERED REGARDLESS OF THE GEOGRAPHIC LOCATION OF SUCH ORGANIZATIONS.
