Vasalgel Contraception and Family PlanningParsemus Foundation supports contraception and family planning initiatives. A main focus is the development of a non-hormonal, long-acting and reversible male contraceptive called Vasalgel. The project is managed through Revolution Contraceptives, LLC a social enterprise that implements Vasalgels development work and Parsemus Foundation serves as its sole member. In 2021, the project was in the research and development phase. Activities on Vasalgel and family planning included:Final reports on Vasalgel preclinical animal studies were prepared and reviewed.Outreach and advocacy included communication with support base, fielding media and public queries.Significant effort involved evaluating the option for a partner to help develop Vasalgel.The progress on programs made possible by gifts from the foundation to a family planning organization continue to be monitored.Grant to the Male Contraceptive Initiative Youth Advisory Board to support small g
