Grants and in-kind support to California and Oregon K-12 teachers in eligible counties to develop and present science projects. Funding is intended to create and display science projects and for general science education programs for K-12 students. Schools in all California counties are eligible, as well as schools located in Hillsboro, Oregon. The program provides science project poster boards, science fair collateral materials, data measuring devices, and financial assistance for teachers and schools.

Understanding most teachers and students are currently working remotely, flexible resources have been added to this year’s package. In addition to the traditional supplies, teachers in Santa Clara County will be eligible to receive a membership to either RAFT, CASE, or NSTA – all of which will provide you with additional training and resources to help you execute project-based STEM remotely. You will also have the option of selecting one classroom kit that can be broken down and distributed to students outside of school.
