Grants of up to $1,500 to California nonprofit organizations in eligible locations to benefit local residents. Funding is intended for proposals that are related, but not limited to, education and scholarships, medical services, arts and culture, animal welfare, and senior citizen services. Eligible applicants are located in Plumas County.

Additional Eligibility Criteria
The Common Good Community Foundation provides grants for non-profit organizations within Plumas County. Only non-profit organizations may apply for funding and a valid Federal Tax ID# is required.
Ineligible
The Common Good Community Foundation does NOT fund the following:
- Grants in excess of $1,500
- More than one grant to the same organization in a two year period
- Religious or political activities
- Other foundations or service clubs
- Debt reduction
- Grants to individuals
- Fundraising activities
- Multiple grant requests from the same organization
- Multi-year grants
Pre-Application Information
There are two funding cycles per calendar year. Funding requests are accepted in May and November, with grant awards made in June and December. Grant applications must be received or postmarked by May 31st for the spring funding cycle or November 30th for the winter funding cycle.
Estimated Size of Grant
The Foundation does not fund grants in excess of $1,500.
Term of Contract
The Foundation does not fund multi-year grants.
