Grants to California nonprofit organizations, businesses, and government agencies in eligible locations for projects that benefit the community. Program areas include education, health, recreation, safety, civic engagement, arts, employment, and diversity. Funding is intended to make Los Angeles County an excellent place to learn, create, play, connect, and live.
LA2050 is a community-guided initiative driving and tracking progress toward a shared vision for the future of Los Angeles centered around five goals and tracked via 65+ regional progress metrics.
Finalists will be selected using the following criteria:

In each of the five goal categories, the awards will be:
- First Place: $100,000
- Second Place: $50,000
- Third Place: $25,000
- Fourth Place: $15,000
- Fifth Place: $10,000
Winning projects must be completed, and the grant award must be expended, within 12 months of receipt of funds.
